2024 Summer Reading Club!

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program! The Perth & District Library has a full calendar of children’s and teen programs this summer, as well as a reading challenge for all ages!

Kids

Log the books you read this summer for brag tags and a chance to win a bike!

Visit the library to:
Register for the TD Summer Reading Club and get a free book, your first brag tag, your ballots and a copy of the library’s summer programming calendar
Drop off your ballots and get your brag tags

Every book read is a ballot to enter to win one of two new bicycles, thanks to Canadian Tire Perth’s generous support!
Get a new brag tag for every 10 books you read!

Kids Programs

In order to allow everyone equal access to our summer programming, we will be offering staggered registration this year.

Registration opens:
June 22 for programs July 1-11
July 3 for programs July 15-26
July 20 for programs July 29-Aug 9
July 31 for programs Aug 12-25

Looking for information on the Library’s Summer Literacy Program, which offers tutoring for children in kindergarten through grade three during July and August? Registration has been completed for this year. If you think your child could benefit from the Summer Literacy Program, please speak with your child’s teacher. We provide referral forms to all of our area schools (in Tay Valley, Perth, and Drummond/North Elmsley) in May of each year. More information
