Museum and Park Passes
The library offers passes to the following museums and parks:
- Canadian Museum of History / Canadian War Museum
- Ingenium (Aviation & Space; Food & Agriculture; Science & Technology)
- Canadian Museum of Nature
- National Gallery of Canada
- Ontario Parks
- Rideau Valley Conservation Areas.
Passes may be borrowed for one week with your library card and admit a family (usually up to two adults and three children) for free! Passes may be reserved (first come, first serve, no reserving for a specific day) and will be held for 24 hours. You may only borrow one pass out at a time and they cannot be renewed.
See what’s available in the library catalogue by searching for “museum pass” or call us at (613) 267-1224 to check availability or reserve a pass.
What happened to the passes to the Aquatarium and the Diefenbunker?
As of February 2021, the Aquatarium suspended their library discount pass program.
As of May 2022, the Ottawa Museum Network suspended their library and community pass program.
We hope to resume these partnerships in future!
