Come down for movie time at the Library from 1-3PM! Take a break from the heat, unwind with friends, and eat some popcorn. Bring your own beverage!
Learn about the art of songwriting with local musician, Kalil Bailey. Practice with bongo drums, ukuleles, guitars, and more!
Create your own musical instrument (rain stick) to take home! Choose between different materials to create different sounds and decorate the outside of your instrument.
Trek through the library and surrounding area (library garden) to identify naturally occurring beats, rhythms, and melodies. Each child gets a notepad to record their observations during this investigation!
Come out to the library garden for open stage and mic afternoon! All are welcome. Show us your ultra cool dance moves, a song you've been practicing, a magic trick, or knock our socks off with some comedy! Please RSVP if you'd like to perform. Note: there's no Simon Cowell present.
Craft a lovely leaf or flower crown for your fairy attire and hold onto it for the end of the week... the fairy ball is coming up!

In this crafty afternoon we'll make found poems (also known as blackout poetry) with old literature and custom pins with the library's button maker!
This program is designed to lay the foundation of early literacy skills. Sing songs, learn rhymes and listen to stories. Infants and toddlers ages 0-18 months are welcome to join. Looks like rain tomorrow so lets meet a the library! Please reserve a free ticket for everyone in your group.

Hold on to some memories from this summer for the future. Write a personalized note to your future self or a loved one, or leave yourself a treasure or trinket for several years down the line. Bury this time capsule in your backyard or stow it under your bed.
Go out with BANG at the library's end of summer party! We'll play games, share memories, and say our 'farewell's! Winners of the new bicycles will be drawn at 2pm.
