Join John for an engaging talk about his new book, ‘Foxtail: A Tale of a Canadian Timber Frame Retreat’.
John is generously donating all profits from copies of Foxtail sold at the event to the Perth & District Library!
John Fenik and his wife Laurie decide to build a traditional timber frame cabin on a water
access-only wilderness property. Having no building skills, months before the pandemic hits,
what could possibly go wrong?
John will talk about the trials and tribulations of building an off-the-grid traditional timber frame
cabin on a water-only access property. The talk is told, told in a humorous lighthearted way, John
will detail the steps in the build, what went wrong, but more importantly, the characters he and
his wife met and the heartwarming stories they share.
It is a talk not to be missed! RSVP below!
Thursday June 15th from 6:00-7:00pm in the Program Room upstairs.
