I Couldn’t Afford Therapy So I Drew This Comic – Workshop For Teens.

May 23, 2023 , 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Free
Drawing can be a great tool to help us sort through all the thoughts and feelings that we are having. Just sitting down with a pen and paper can calm us right down, even if we just draw scribbles.
When we draw about our experiences, it can help us understand them and share them with people around us. We can tell stories about who we are and how we see the world.
Join Gabe Thirlwall (they/them or she/her) for a drawing workshop that will look at how drawing can support our mental health. It will be fun, maybe a little bit serious, but mostly fun.
The only thing you can’t do is say: “I suck at art.”
This program is suited for ages 12- 18. All supplies will be provided.
