Book Donations

Thank you for considering the library!

We accept books that are:

• in good condition
• fewer than five years old or classic/popular titles (e.g. Pride & Prejudice, James Patterson)

Please, no textbooks, Readers Digest books, or music CDS!

We accept a maximum of two bags or one box at a time, as the library does not have a large amount of storage space. They can be dropped off anytime the library is open. 

Any donations become the property of the library. We may add them to the collection or sell them in our book sale. Money raised from the book sale goes to support library services and programs.

Archival Material
Are you trying to find a home for local archival material, such as original documents or records, maps and charts, or photographs? The library does not have the appropriate facilities or expertise to care for this material. We recommend contacting Archives Lanark, a central repository for historical and genealogical documents pertaining to the cultural, genealogical and historical heritage of Lanark County, in eastern Ontario.
